The exception to the statement that “nothing lasts forever” is that everything lasts forever. It is a universal law that energy can neither be created nor be destroyed: it can only be transformed from one state to another. Growth and decay are accounting for categories of a form’s transformation. They are signals for points in time on a scale that the human mind creates. You are a form of energy– energy that is mass; and together, it is you.
